Privacy Policy

Finding Will, LLC("we," "us," or "our") operates www.lesmarches.shop (the "Site"), where we sell hand-poured candles in vintage silver bowls. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, sign up for our emails, or contact us, we collect:
• Name, email address, and phone number
• Billing and shipping addresses
• Order details and purchase history
• Any messages you send us, including custom or gift requests
Payment information. Payments are processed by Squarespace Payments, which uses Stripe for payment processing and for fraud detection. We do not receive or store your full card number. These providers process your information under their own privacy policies: Stripe: https://stripe.com/privacy.
Address autocomplete. During checkout, the Site may suggest completions for your shipping and billing address by sending what you type to the Google Places API.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we, Squarespace, and our other service providers automatically collect:
• Your IP address
• Information about your browser, network, and device
• The web page you visited before coming to the Site
• Pages you view and how you interact with the Site, such as clicks, scrolling, searches, and timestamps
• Approximate location derived from your IP address
We collect this information through cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 6.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
• Process, fulfill, ship, and deliver your orders, and handle returns and exchanges
• Calculate applicable sales tax
• Communicate with you about orders, shipping, your account, and customer service
• Send abandoned cart reminders and, if you have signed up, marketing emails
• Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site and our products
• Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, and misuse of the Site
• Comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as follows:
• Squarespace, which hosts the Site and our online store and processes order, account, email, and visitor data to provide those services to us. Squarespace also collects information about visitors to sites it hosts and uses it for its own purposes, including to operate, protect, and improve its platform. • Other service providers who act on our behalf, including payment processors, shipping carriers (USPS / UPS / FedEx), Stripe (for sales tax calculation), Google (for address autocomplete and fonts), Adobe (for fonts). These providers receive the information needed to perform their services.
• Advertising and analytics partners, if we use them, as described in Section 6.
• Legal and safety purposes: to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case personal information may be transferred to the acquiring party.
• With your consent or at your direction.
4. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and then delete or de-identify it. Order records are generally kept for seven (7) years for tax purposes.
5. Emails
Order and account emails. We send emails about your orders and account, such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, account creation, and password resets. Because these relate to transactions and accounts you initiated, you cannot unsubscribe from them.
Abandoned cart emails. If you enter your email address at checkout (or are logged into your account), add an in-stock item to your cart, and leave without completing your purchase, you may receive an automated reminder email within 24 hours. You can unsubscribe using the link in that email.
Marketing emails. If you sign up, we send marketing emails through Squarespace Email Campaigns. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, which are small files or pieces of text placed on your device when you visit. Squarespace sets cookies necessary for the Site to function, such as those that keep items in your cart and process checkout. These are always used. A list of the cookies Squarespace uses is available at https://support.squarespace.com/hc/articles/360001264507.
The Site displays fonts served by Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts. To display them, these providers may receive your IP address, information about your browser and device, and the page you are viewing.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality, such as checkout.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no uniform standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

• Account information: If you have an account, you can review and update your information by logging in, or by contacting us.
• Cookies: See Section 6.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
• Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it
• Access and receive a copy of your personal information
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information or its sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

We will need to verify your identity before responding, typically by matching information you provide with information in our records. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line.
California residents. California law permits residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Checkout is encrypted with SSL/TLS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as our social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or a notice on the Site.
