$150.00

Le Blason — 1847 Rogers Bros. Silverplate Candle

A handsome old silver bowl, given a new life.

Named for the coat of arms engraved on its lid, Le Blason pairs a low, wide silhouette with a hammered, faceted finish and angular handles. Its domed cover features a decorative shield and trailing ornament—a little ceremony for an everyday evening.

Rather lovely before you’ve even struck a match.

Hand-poured with 100% soy wax and two cotton wicks. Original fitted lid included.

Marked “1847 Rogers Bros.” and “00212L.” Exact production date unknown.

AFTER HOURS AT THE MARCHÉ
Tobacco Flower • Vanilla Orchid • Cedarwood • Tonka Bean • Citron

Our vessels are photographed up close to show their beautiful details. Please check the dimensions carefully—some of our favorite finds are quite petite.

Each vessel is vintage and one of a kind. Tarnish, scratches, small dents and other signs of age may be present. We consider them part of its history—and part of its charm.

Refillable • One of One
Every gift is wrapped.

CANDLE CARE & INSTRUCTIONS

Trim both wicks to ¼″ before each lighting. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.

The silver vessel becomes hot during use. Allow the wax and vessel to cool completely before touching or moving. Keep wax free of matches and debris. Stop burning when approximately ½″ of wax remains.

Remove the lid before lighting. Do not use the lid to extinguish the candle. Replace only when completely cool.
