Le Trophée — Rogers Bros. Silverplate Candle

$150.00

A handsome old silver bowl, given a new life.

This vintage covered sugar bowl pairs a hammered, faceted finish with angular handles, an octagonal pedestal base and a peaked lid. A decorative shield surrounded by scrolling ornament gives it a little grandeur—and brings a little ceremony to an everyday evening.

Identified by the original seller as Rogers Bros., Heraldic pattern. Exact production date unknown.

Hand-poured with 100% soy wax and one cotton wick. Original fitted lid included.

Approximately 7½″ tall with the lid × 7″ handle to handle, according to the original seller.

AFTER HOURS AT THE MARCHÉ
Tobacco Flower • Vanilla Orchid • Cedarwood • Tonka Bean • Citron

Our vessels are photographed up close to show their beautiful details. Please check the dimensions carefully—some of our favorite finds are quite petite.

Each vessel is vintage and one of a kind. Tarnish, scratches, small dents and other signs of age may be present. We consider them part of its history—and part of its charm.

Refillable • One of One
Every gift is wrapped.

Candle care
Remove the lid and all packaging before lighting. Trim the wick to ¼″ before each burn. Burn within sight on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets and anything flammable. The metal vessel becomes hot; allow it to cool before handling. Stop burning when ½″ of wax remains. Replace the lid only after the candle has been extinguished and cooled.
